Our Cattle

Our cattle roam freely across the vast pastures of Montana. They stroll leisurely through the wide-open fields and breathe in the crisp Montana air while grazing on natural grasses and wildflowers. Each animal grows up in a spacious, tranquil environment, far from the pressures of industrial farming. Our USDA-certified facilities employ humane, individual handling practices, ensuring that every cow is treated with care throughout its life and during processing. As a result, Montana beef delivers a naturally grass-fed flavor, tender and juicy texture, and beautiful marbling—making it the choice for discerning consumers in the premium beef market.

Our beef is prepared in-house:

  • Steaks are dry-aged and hand-cut
  • Beef is ground fresh, packaged and frozen
  • Our Sausages are made in-house using only organic spices, without any sugar
  • All products are individually cry-o-vaced with each cut and packaged on-site.

Our hands-on approach enables our company to produce affordable products that go from our facilities directly to your doorstep.

Why Montana?

With three seasons of lush grasses across different regions of Montana, we are able to move our cattle to the greenest pastures throughout the year. The vast open plains, river valleys, and gentle foothills provide cattle with natural forage rich in nutrients and protein, especially during the peak summer months.

Montana’s clean air, crisp climate, and expansive landscapes allow cattle to graze freely for much of the year, giving ranchers the opportunity to transform sunshine and native grasses into nutritious, grass-fed beef. From our pastures to your plate, it’s beef raised with care for both the animals and the environment—delivering exceptional flavor, tenderness, and marbling for you and your loved ones to enjoy.

Healthy Cattle. Healthy Living

Natural & Healthy

We find that allowing our Momma cows to be on the ranch for 4-6 years produces the best quality beef our state has to offer. We believe in the tradition of Montana cattle ranching, and we are doing all we can to preserve it through our own operations and ranching the old-fashioned way. In addition, we work with ranchers in Montana that live by our same principles and values; caring for their livestock, the environment and our natural resources. These partner ranchers are AGA certified and between us all, our cattle graze on millions of acres, adding to the nutrients of the soil across the state while providing nourishment for our community. When you buy from AZGRB, your dollars go into Ranchers’ pockets across Montana, helping to keep the Cattle Industry alive here in our great state.

Montana’s Farmers produce the feed necessary for dairy and beef operations across the state, which feeds our community as well as the surrounding states. Farmers, Feeders and Dairies are a wonderful luxury that we have as a part of the fabric of Montana. Ranching is a key component to the food system; providing steers into the feeder markets and females back onto the ranch to soak up the sun and produce more beef.
